Ellen,

I'm pleased to hear that you have made a track record for yourself. You are one of the few...

I think it is one of the most important things to do, during the learning periode.  And even later on....

I'd suggest you keep on trading on your demo account, untill you feel like wining again, and feel more confident with the market.  Then step back in with live trading.

It doesn't matter how long it takes.  As long as you keep demotrading, you will learn something new every week.  This market is really exceptional, but at the same time, it can be very meaningfull as well.

Good luck,

Sven

Good morning,

All pairs are going down, and we will "go with the flow."

So 4 x Sell.

Happy trading.

Good morning,

I can repeat yesterday's post, since the situation is practically unchanged.  All currency pairs are in a downtrend, so I will Sell them today as well.

Happy trading.

Good morning,

No change int the trend, so I'll Sell the 4 currency pairs today.

Once currencies are in a strong trend, it is very difficult to break out of it.  Of course, there are some moves up and down during the day, but that's the "minor trend".  These moves can be quite big these days, because of high volatility.  But they don't turn around the trend.

The pairs can retrace towards their Fibo levels, but they need a trigger to set this retracement into action.  So far, we haven't seen such a trigger yet.

The trend can only be reversed, once a first trigger is followed by another, and another, and the economic data start to show the need for rebalancing more and more.

Since all economic news was bad in the recent past, is still bad right now, and will be bad for some time in the future, I don't expect a reversal of the trend in the near future.

Although the current actions from the US government are really inflationary (printing money as never before), we see the USD strengthening.  Some day, investors will realize that they have sent the USD too high, and reverse.  But in the meantime, as long as "cash is king", the USD and JPY are the strong currencies.

As you know, the market is always right.  And a weaker EUR can help our exporters to overcome the recession, so today, I think a lot of people in Europe are hoping for a continued strength of the USD for some time to come..

Happy trading.

Trading in the foreign exchange market involves risk, and you should only trade with money you can afford to put at risk. Your risk is strictly limited to how much you have in your account. Before deciding to invest in foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite.
